About the Role Are you passionate about making a difference in a manufacturing environment through strategic HR leadership? We are looking for a skilled Senior HR Business Partner to provide contemporary HR advice, guidance, and leadership at Sanitarium's Berkley Vale Manufacturing site. This role is central to fostering strong relationships, building leadership capabilities, and driving positive cultural change. You will partner closely with the site manufacturing leadership team to add value to business performance. In addition, you will contribute to Supply Chain and enterprise-wide People & Culture (P&C) initiatives to ensure we remain an employer of choice. Key Responsibilities - HR Advisory: Provide operational and strategic HR advice to maintain cultural alignment and enhance leadership capability.
- Employment Relations: Develop and implement proactive ER/IR strategies to manage employment relations and mitigate potential risks.
- Enterprise Bargaining: Lead the enterprise bargaining process and manage Union relationships to ensure successful negotiations.
- Team Leadership: Foster a constructive team culture aligned with Sanitarium’s values and guide the development of your team
- HR Calendar Management: Facilitate activities such as talent planning, goal and growth conversations, engagement surveys, and remuneration reviews.
- Change Management: Support leaders in applying tools and frameworks to manage people readiness and change activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Corporate P&C team, including Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and HR Technology, to ensure seamless HR services.
- Leadership Development: Facilitate training and coaching for leaders to enhance their leadership capability.
- Workforce Planning: Provide key people metrics and advice to support informed business decisions.
Skills and Competencies - Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Demonstrated HR Business Partnering and Generalist experience in an operational environment.
- Expertise in contemporary HR procedures and employment legislation across Australia.
- Experience in developing people readiness strategies to support transformational change programs.
- Experience with Enterprise Bargaining and managing Union relationships.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies with operational goals.
- Experience in leading and mentoring HR teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and take initiative in solving complex issues.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with a natural ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
